He would be a fool not to think it. But he had to put her out of his head. He had to concentrate on the divorce, and on getting his life back on track. Will and Jason didn't know who she was, they thought he was looking for Rachel's family.
Lying to the guys was difficult to do. They had been his family since he was fifteen, when his mom remarried a douche who didn't care about his mom's kids, but about what his mom could provide for the douche's kids.
Jason and his girlfriend, Nikki, had let him stay with them a few times, whenever things got too rough or he just needed some time away. Jason and Nik had been going out for ten years, but refused to get married until LGBT people were allowed. While Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend were well known for that, Jason and Nik had been living by that rule since their relationship started in 1998.
Will let him stay with him and his wife, Keira, too. They'd had a shotgun wedding three months after Rachel left. Keira was pregnant, and they were in Vegas, so they went all out, tackiness wise. Will was insane, and their wedding reflected that, with balloons, streamers, and a rather large chocolate cake instead of a fruit one. They had two children, Anna and Tommy. Keira got to give them their first names, while Will gave them their second. Just as well, because Anna was Anna Dromeda, and Tommy was Thomas Thriller.
Gary wanted something like that. They'd come off tour, and Anna, Tommy and Keira would be waiting for Will, and Jason would have Nikki waiting. He'd have Deb, and they'd hug simply so nobody would know the cracks in their marriage. Some nights he'd be in one of the guys' basements, and the three of them would smoke, drink and jam, just to deal with the issues going through their heads. Well...mostly the issues going through Gary's head.
There were the rare occasions that he came home and thought Deb was happy to see him. The only problem was that this was always when she felt guilty for sleeping with Dan.
